Writing for writing’s sake! Long or short, if I take great pride in how something was written, it gets filed here!
I don’t consider myself a writer (and by that, I mean I’ve never done NaNoWriMo or anything like that), and don’t really enjoy writing…unless if it’s about a topic I actually enjoy like guinea pigs, small animals, (sleep) dreams and so on.
Sometimes I have dreams where I’m in some hidden room of Jeidai’s house, filled with old, unused objects (kinda like in someone’s attic or garage). There’s a hole in the floor that allows me to warp to my grandparents’ old house, when I squeeze myself into it.
And sometimes, I have dreams where I’m in a huge hotel at Disneyland, where I get lost in easily. And after wandering around, I wind up in an old elevator that takes me to some outside location in a 50s version of Tomorrowland.
(more…)Dream #1 involved me staying at Jeidai‘s house, even though the year wasn’t over yet. In fact, it was during finals. Getting over to school was easy. I had my car over at her house, and when it was time for me to go to school, I would jump in it and drive over.
But one day, when it was time to go over for my Web Design final critique, it took me about an hour to gather everything up. And when I got outside, I couldn’t find said car. ;o; I searched up and down the street, and luckily saw my mom, heading down the driveway after a visit to Jeidai’s family and decided to ask her for a ride. But then I saw the car parked in front of the next house and was relieved.

Peach and I were watching an episode of Pokemon, set a few years into the future. It was mainly about Ash and Misty, who were playing on the beach with a group of younger kids. I noticed that Misty was definitely older–she sounded older, and she looked older. But then I was becoming annoyed because she sounded too much like Lucy van Pelt and Ash sounded too much like Charlie Brown. XD

This dream (err, nightmare? O_o) was actually a movie that we were watching on TV. We started watching sometime in the middle, and it played all the way to the end. When it ended, they played it over again. I ended up watching it the second time, but didn’t finish it to the end (not even to the part where we started before), since I woke up. Whenever we watched the movie, we became the characters in that movie.
Oh yeah. I thought about putting the scene where I was exploring around the house in the middle of this entry, since I was watching that first…which was in the middle of the movie. But it didn’t make much sense for it to be in the middle, and it makes a good intro. (And I figured it really was meant to be in the beginning anyway.) Uhh…well, the original order the dream had the events in made it seem screwed up, so I rearranged them, and they now make sense.

(more…)This is actually Part 3, but since the first two parts are so short and incohorent, I didn’t feel like including them.
My family, Jeidai and her family and I were all transported to some kind of alternate world, kind of like the Spirit World in Spirited Away, set in Edo Japan. We were given some sort of mission that involved a hotel/restaurant we would be staying at.
The hotel was pretty small actually, about the size of a small two-story American home (and was laid out like one). It also didn’t get many guests, as we were the only ones staying there at the time.
