Brutal Honesty is NOT always the answer

Here’s the entire thread for context (reddit just threw the other replies to the OP, so not sure how to link to this particular conversation).
I tend to be rather thin-skinned myself and it just never feels good ramming someone with the “brutal honesty” truck. It’s possible to get your point across without tearing them down and at the same time, without sugarcoating it.

“OSHA probes Amazon warehouse where workers died with no tornado shelter”
Similarly: An Amazon driver was told she would be fired if she stopped delivering packages during tornado warnings: report (The Business Insider article is paywalled, so linking to the reddit thread instead)

“Google is building a new augmented reality device and operating system”
The issue I think (as a glasses wearer) a lot of wearable eyewear has is that it generally assumes the person won’t already be wearing glasses. I remember Google eventually fixing this, by letting glasses wearers buy prescription lenses with their Glass. BUT not as a separate attachment for their current, existing glasses. Also how many people really want to walk around in public, looking like a borg?
So good idea. 👍 Bad execution. 👎
