This is the non-spicy version, but it was still hot….temperature hot, that is.

FYI, all wrappers (except for the first one) are empty since I ate them all. 😋 The first one is a product image from Beyond’s site, since I don’t have a Beyond Jerky wrapper handy right now.
It’s been at least year since I had this (found it at CVS of all places). The taste & texture was a lot like regular jerky. Only problem, is it’s really hard to find.
This is the first jerky I tried from this company. It doesn’t have the same texture as Beyond or meat jerky, but the taste is like what you’d expect beef jerky to be like.
This one was black pepper flavored (which to me, just tastes like spicy). That was pretty much it. If you like spicy foods though, it’s great.
This wasn’t as spicy as the black pepper one, but it did taste overwhelmingly like BBQ sauce (Jack Daniel’s in particular). I’m not 100% a BBQ sauce, so it didn’t as much for me as much as the previous two, but I didn’t hate it.
I’d say it’s more for people who don’t like meat-like taste/texture of plant meat. The texture was sort of like dehydrated fruit. It had a teeny bit of a kick to it, not spicy, more sweet.
It was finger-licking good!
