This is out of my “comfort zone” (since I’m a sci-fi nerd), but I got it after hearing so much about it and when I read about it on Wikipedia, I became intrigued.

“You have someone who is calling the police for help, and she gets killed by the police who she’s asking for assistance,” said Bradley Gage, the family’s attorney. “If you call police for help, you think the officers are going to protect and serve you. You don’t expect them to hunt and kill you.”
Is this why people don’t take rape seriously anymore?
Also, I know this was about 5 years ago, but I was really hoping someone heard her and called the police. So when they show up and start questioning, the guy could show the video he took and they arrest this bitch instead. 😤
