Dream: No Worries Here

Some time last week, everyone on our street got a notice, telling us to not drive or park on our street on Tuesday (today) between 7am – 5pm, since some workers would be coming to slurry the street. Which means unless if you park your car elsewhere, you’re trapped at home until then (unless if you walk to one of the neighboring streets and get a ride from someone). 😀 So early this morning, my dad had to park all but two of the cars on the other streets (he’s working on one, and I might not leave for Capstone until after we’re allowed to drive on the street).

And…this morning, I had an interesting little dream, where I woke up to my mom and L heading out to work/school. Half-asleep, I looked at my watch, which read “5:36pm”. I thought ‘ohhh yeah, because they’re doing that…thing, L has to leave for school later.’ And promptly went back to sleep.

Actually, I don’t know if it’s a dream, or if it really did happen and I imagined my watch reading “5:36”. :3

As for the street slurrying, when I went into the garage to get some clam chowder for lunch, I took a peek through the window in the garage door and saw…

Nothing. :O Nothing out of the ordinary. The signs warning people to not park on the street were up, but the street looked as it always did (i.e. not black). When I asked my dad about it, he said workers came at 9 to take away signs, reflectors and manholes, and that’s it. It’s 12:38 right now…
