I’m not really an Apple user (the only one of their products I have is a MacBook Pro), but I’ve used some of their other Macs, and I’ve played with their other products (iPhones, iPods, etc).

The Finder (kind of like Explore on Windows) uses these files called .DS_Store. They’re hidden files, so in order to see them, you have to play with Terminal a little.
