I said I would draw the face of Giantpaper (aka the personification). Sooo…yeah. It’s just a concept sketch, so the final version might end up looking very different.

When I draw people, I only draw their faces (sketch on the right in the middle ) and maybe upper torso. I don’t really draw full figures very often unfortunately…but now I have! >:O And I like it! This isn’t the first sketch I’ve done in pen (will have to upload the others), but I’ve found that if you’re pretty familiar with what you’re drawing, it’s not that different from using graphite. There are some glaring mistakes (the angle at which the middle pose is really hurting my neck), but it’s done (and in pen too!), so there’s nothing I could do about that.

I like it! I think I will do all my future concepts for my characters in pen from now on. XD

Btw, originally she wasn’t supposed to be a ball jointed doll, but after drawing in the lines for the regular human joints (in attempt to flesh out the body), I noticed that they look like doll joints. So…yeah. ^^;
