Err…not really. But she did get her nails filed.

A little while ago, I noticed the outside of her ear flap had a weird little scar looking thing.

After gathering up my courage*, I signed up for the Guinea Lynx message board (I was a lurker there previously). And gathered up more courage and made a medical thread for Mocha.

*Social networks kinda scare me. Message boards kinda scare me. I like lurking both, but actually posting on them kinda ummmm, brings out inner personal insecurities. I only posted on GL this time because for Mocha’s sake.

So…yeah. A skin tag, I guess. O.o Also after reading some of the replies in the thread Regiane linked to (Talishan’s in particular), I took Mocha out and cut off any pointy ends I saw on her toenails and filed down all of the back ones. She did complain a little, but not it in her usual “what the $^@# are you doing??” voice (for a guinea pig whose owner often neglected nail clipping duty in the past *hides*, she seems pretty calm about it. Unless if I cut right into the quick. Then she will just pee on me). She did try to wiggle her feet out however.
