Zoey is sick (kennel cough).

We can’t let her outside very often until she gets better. This includes going out for walks (especially now, since it’s raining).

When Zoey (like other dogs) doesn’t get walked, she gets restless, REALLY restless. She demands that we pet her and shower her with affection. Before church yesterday, Dad locked her in her cage with her bed (since she peed earlier upstairs on Friday when we went out for dinner). When we got back, she completely shredded her new corduroy bed to pieces. :O

(Mom said we’ll “never get her another bed again” and Dad, being a bigger dog lover said “it’ll be a long time before we get another one.” Today they came home from Costco with another dog bed. And me? “That was fast.”)

So what to do? We got her a yellow raincoat so she could go for walks and not get wet. (She’s not enjoying wearing it however. D:)

And the cats?

• Peach: spies on her (from 5 feet away), doesn’t run
• Muffin: watches her, keeps her distance (and runs if she thinks Zoey’s too close)
