Bathing them kills them. :O
I ended up misplacing my cellphone sometime after Sunday. I normally keep it in my pants pocket, but I was pretty sure I took it out before going to bed. So last night, while doing my laundry, I kept hearing something clunking around inside the washing machine, but for about ten minutes, I brushed it off.
Then about eleven minutes after the laundry started, I got a sneaking suspicion that umm….maybe my Utilikey might be in there! Yeah! Hehe! (I also misplaced that sometime after Saturday, when we were at church, taking the offices and furniture apart to be transported to the new building.) After I stopped the washing machine, I was greeted by my cellphone. :O Oh yeah, and my Utilikey.
Apparently, I forgot about my phone when I put my pants in the laundry, so…yeah, it went in the washing machine. :O My cellphone went in the washing machine. I’ve put other electronics in the washing machine and dryer before (Game Boy cartridge—Link’s Awakening*), but I’ve never put in a cellphone. :O And yup, it’s kind of comatose right now. I showed it to my dad, who took out the battery, so everything could dry out.
*It survived the entire process. The graphics were a bit weird-looking for about a minute, but it cleared up.
Ironically enough, my mom was talking about us getting new phones. Hers has bad audio (it’s turned up so high, that she can barely understand the person she’s talking to) and Ryan’s battery runs out quickly. This also was around the time I said I didn’t need a new phone, since there was nothing wrong with it. o_O
I think you need to get an LG phone.
I drop my LG over five times a day (for the past year and a half), have dropped it into glasses of water, the swimming pool…and its indestructible!
Reeeeaaaally? O_O
Mom’s thinking of switching to another provider (from Cingular to ???), since we really don’t need all the minutes they give us. ^_^;
