So on Tuesday morning, I woke up with a nice, puffy eyelid (left eye). I figured it was some kind of eye infection, so I put hot water on it over and over again, until it was down to a pretty unnoticeable size (people wouldn’t know it’s there unless I told them). The next morning, it was back in its original puffy glory. Before, I had been using hot tap water, so this time, I boiled some water, mixed it with regular (not-boiled) tap water and used that instead. Once again, I was able to get it to the same somewhat unnoticeable size. This morning, it was still at the same size, but my mom showed it to my dad, who thought that maybe I have a spider in there.

…As an arachnophobic, I’m not sure if that’s what I want to be hearing. :O (Especially since I get a foreign body sensation every once in a while, and the thought I could actually FEEL the spider in my eye is umm…creepy.)

But my mom’s sure it’s a stye, not a spider bite (and the fact that it’s a spider bite, not an actual spider in there makes things a whole lot better, since I’ve had that happen before and my reaction was basically “wow”).

But if it doesn’t disappear by Monday, I need to see a doctor, which is something I’ve been avoiding, since I don’t have health insurance (I don’t have a job, and the “health insurance for full time students” no longer applies to me, although my mom and dad said they’ll pay for it).
