Weird dream season is in, for me that is. :P

So, you know how I decided to get a MacBook Pro? While tinkering with my current MacBook, I remembered suddenly that I actually do have a MBP somewhere. When I needed to reinstall OS X, I realized I needed another copy of OS X from somewhere (I guess I couldn’t find the install disc?). Because I couldn’t think of any other way, I bought a brand new MBP and moved OS X from that laptop onto my current one (so yeah, I bought a new laptop just for the operating system—the hardware was pretty much useless for me :P). I don’t know what happened to the brand new, shiny MBP after that.

But now I remembered that I had it, so I figured I could use that instead of getting another new as a graduation present. I did find it…it was in pretty good condition, except most of the display was missing (me: “Ummm…is that a bad thing?”). I sat there, trying to figure out what to do about a laptop that was only half there (have Apple customer support fix it? Live with it?). And I started to feel embarrassed, since I haven’t been taking very good care of it. :P

As I slowly started to wake up, I realized that it wasn’t a MBP that I bought; it was actually a regular MacBook. And I started to wonder if it was actually Tiger that I had installed instead of Leopard (which is what newer Macs come with).

:P
