(I’m testing out this blogging thing on Flickr…)
So my mom and I went out to a fabric store for some curtains for her office (since she has a fairly large monitor in her office at work with a really large window. Folks stopping by might see the monitor and figure that her office is worth breaking into for).
Afterwards, we went over to the pet store to get some supplies: cat food aaaaaand a guinea pig bed. XP Yup, that’s right. During the colder months, Mocha starts sneezing, so to keep her from catching a cold, I put a blanket over her cage. But that didn’t do a real good job, because she still sneezes. So I decided to do what Guinea Pig Cages suggested and got her a guinea pig bed. Yeah, she does pee in it (unlike what GPC said), but I think it’ll wear off (it took her a while for her to stop peeing on the floor when I let her run around).
As for the plastic igloo that she used as her hidey hole in her cage? I still have it. I’ll replace the bed with the igloo as the warmer months approach, but for now, she has a cozy bed to keep her warm. :3
[Edit] Once I posted this entry, I went into the WP admin panel and saw that Flickr does the MySpace thing and adds <style> tags right in the entry section of the post. And instead of using paragraph tags or letting WP take care of the line breaks and paragraphs, it uses double <br> tags. I will never use it again! ToT
