@_@ Just a few minutes ago, someone called and asked me about some kind of application. For some reason, I thought it had to do with Star Wars (some time before I picked it up, I was looking through my Japanese TPM manga…). At first, it didn’t bother me, until the person started asking a bunch of non-SW application related questions (mainly about college life, what major, full time or part time student, etc etc). RIGHT when I’m on the edge of my seat with nervousness, the person reminded me that this was for a CREDIT CARD application. I asked the person to hold on for a moment, and told my mom about it. She just told me to tell them I wasn’t interested. Did that, and we both hung up. The person didn’t sound to happy though; she sounded kind of stiff when she said “Well…thank you for your time.” But hey, it’s A LOT better than what solicitors usually do when you tell them you’re not interested. �� ]
